Press Release Body: Gian Fiero, an adjunct professor at San Francisco State University's Music Recording Industry program, has designed a course to help those with creative or professional aspirations in the music industry get on the right track to follow their dreams, or change careers.
Utilizing what he calls "career building diagrams," Professor Fiero uses introspective homework exercises which enable students to identify their strengths and values while establishing their core competencies. The end result is that they become prepared to for success in an occupation for which they are best suited.
"I created this curriculum to correspond with the realities of the music business," says Professor Fiero. "Anyone who has ever worked in the music industry will tell you that they often don't see the big picture going in. This Music Industry Career Planning class not only helps you to see the big picture, but the many smaller pictures that it is comprised of, and your place within it.\"
